Saban Boosts Skydecks Market Presence
VC arm of Saban Capital looks to support developing mobile phone data firm.

Skydeck, an online service allowing users to track phone usage, came to an agreement with Saban Ventures, the venture capital arm of Saban Capital, to boost its overall financing to $4 million, also including a previous angel funding round.
We are excited to participate in Skydecks growth as the Company capitalizes on the increasing need for mobile communications management in todays market, said Craig Cooper, managing director of Saban Ventures. This investment is consistent with Sabans focus on building a strong portfolio of transformative digital media investments and we look forward to leveraging our deep investment network and industry experience to help drive Skydecks success.
Cooper will also join Skydecks board of directors. He has previously directed or run companies including Boost Mobile, Thumbplay and YouMail and worked with funds including VantagePoint Venture Partners and SoftBank Capital Technology Fund.
