Gibson Dunn Hires Former Skadden Partner
William Hollaway, an energy regulatory attorney, will join Gibsons D.C. office.

Corporate transaction focused law firm Gibson Dunn has hired William Hollaway, an energy regulatory attorney, as a partner at the firms Washington, D.C. office.
Holaway previously was a partner with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and at Skadden, Arps, where he worked on the Neptune Regional Transmission system project, a transmission cable that connects Long Island to New Jersey, bringing energy to Long Island. He also worked on the Department of Energy's Yucca Mountain project.
He is mostly focused on energy regulatory issues and energy transactions. Hollaway has three degrees in nuclear engineering, in addition to his law degree. He has Ph.D. and Master of Science degrees in nuclear engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Nuclear Engineering degree, with highest honor, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
